On the one hand you're right, nothing is being done, the world is in a terrible place and no one seems to care.
On the other hand it's so easy for extremist groups to latch on to these naive causes and change their narratives, indoctrinate the youth to their way of thought.
This is how Iran became as it is today.
Even within the pro Palestine people, you really do have well meaning people who just see carnage and suffering and they want to do what's right, then they see these violent protests and extremist speech and they can't wholeheartedly associate themselves with it. I think that these are the vast majority of people.
