What is the point of giving more taxes to a govt that won’t attempt to properly invest it? They are spending 10b a day, or 1T every 100 days - in excess spending.
For comparison if they raised income taxes by 5%!! That wouldn’t even pay for a 1 Ukraine bill passed 3 weeks ago.
