Long Beach Island used to be a nice, quiet vacation spot when I was a kid. You could drive the stretch between North Beach and Barnegat at night and see barely a house light, let alone another car. You'd hear the crickets chirping in the cedars, and then the lights of the village as you got closer. We'd get ice cream at Andy's, maybe a snap-together model. Best times...anyway...Then the big houses started going up in the early 80s. And big, loud people. And now, so many douche bags have bought up the island, it's turned into a hive of Alitos, like this shit you see here. Makes me sick.
