There is a referendum open to reduce the current inflation by half in OpenGov opened by none other than Giotto DF. I am personally not a big fan of this guy. Should this ref pass, it will also reduce the staking rewards in half. I am not against reducing inflation and the staking rewards, but, I think we should wait until Agile Coretime is launched to determine its effects before doing something this drastic.
