I think most of the news in the states is too negative on its own stock market. For the people that don't participate, all they see is things like Elon being a dumbass, Boeing planes crashing left and right, tiktok antitrust, meta failing metaverse, self driving which spent billions on being abandoned, apple being sued for anti-consumer and their glasses failing within months of sale. I think a normal person looking at the news instead of the numbers would assume it's a terrible time for stocks since it's all bad news.
