Hello all,
I downloaded Robinhood a couple years ago and started building a portfolio. While it is still pretty modest (Around $10k depending on market) I am starting to feel like it is time to get a big kid broker. But trying to sort through all the options is taxing, especially with paid posts promoting sub standard ones.
I do not do a lot of active trading, but I am interested in selling covered calls on some of my positions. Maybe eventually moving in to other revinue strategies as I gain more experience. It seems like Robinhood only allows you to sell options that are sure to be executed, for a fraction of the actual fee charged.
I would like to spend less than $100 annual fee, have access to margin, and ability to sell options before portfolio reaches $25k. But want to hear any good suggestions, even if they dont meet all of the criteria.
What are your favorite brokers? Which ones should I avoid? I look forward to hearing your opinions.
