I agree and I think (hope) that over time the sub 4% mortgages will be less and less held on to. Sure, some people will make their 3% rate home their forever home. But over time situations change. Growing family, divorce, moving up in life in general, all of these things will have a larger effect on people’s decisions the more time passes.

Also, a large amount of people chose in the past two years to give landlording a try bc they didn’t want to sell their 2.5% interest asset. I bet a good chunk of them get sick of it, landlording ain’t for everyone.
