Nice straw man. I never said dining out was a sole reason for inflation…which you’re conflating with a recession. I also used the term “purely anecdotal” to reflect this as merely a small snippet on personal observation of people I know behaviors. These people complain about food prices but happily pay a massive surcharge for having it delivered or prepared for them. There’s clearly a reality disconnect there. And speaking of disconnect, can you show me your sources for the USA currently being in recession despite all official and verifiable data showing otherwise? I’d love to read it. Now, if you’re merely predicting a future recession, ok. So have lots of people for the last three years. I guess if you say it long enough and often enough you’ll eventually be right some day.
