So, I've been working on this software that uses ChatGPT and other LLMs, and whenever I want to test if everything's working, I just throw in a quick "tell me a joke" prompt.

But here's the thing - no matter which AI I use, whether it's ChatGPT or Claude, they always hit me with the same old joke: "Why don't scientists trust atoms? Because they make up everything!" I mean, come on, guys... you're supposed to be these super-intelligent language models, and that's the best you can do?

It's driving me nuts! Like, is there some secret AI handbook that says, "When in doubt, use the atom joke"? I just can't wrap my head around why they all default to the same one.

I even got that joke on Grok today!

So, I gotta ask - what's the deal with this joke? Why is it the go-to for these AIs? If anyone has any theories, I'm all ears!
