I have no idea how to argue with any of that. We've got an endless appetite for new content but new content is expensive to create and if consumers are willing to buy in to services that constantly pump out low cost and engaging content like true crime....why wouldn't they do that?

I suppose I would question is whether or not this is actually a broken system or is it merely a system/model that can only support 2 or 3 players?

My next question would is being a content creator and content creator only possible? Was there a path for Paramount to produce movies and shows and then sell them to the streaming platforms and not become a streaming service themselves?
