We'll be in exactly this same situation because liberals will still be encouraging their kids to go to expensive universities for degrees that won't even pay for themselves and then they'll vote to raise taxes on people who didn't "follow their dreams" and worked a more mundane job that paid well enough to support their family.

Granted, this debt relief in particular seems to be aimed at people who essentially got scammed out of forgiveness they were promised under the original terms of their loan so I have no problem with it, but when people clamor for generalized debt relief because they made a bad decision, that's their problem.
