The vast majority of large firms have lower profit margins than smaller firms, specifically because of economies of scale. Breaking them up into multiple smaller firms reverses this and does nothing to lower prices.
I know people have this fantasy where any sufficiently large company magically gets monopoly pricing power and jacks up their profit margin into the double digits (or even triple digits) but that's just not how things actually work in real life.
