What do you think caused inflation? In the real world, we know that it was caused by years of 0% interest rates (which started before Covid thanks to Trump), global supply chain shortages, and increased demand for goods post-covid, all of which had nothing to do with Biden.
Economies don't just magically change the moment a president signs a bill, it takes years for the effects to be felt. We saw the same thing in Trump's term, where he was handed a very strong economy from Obama that started to slow down two years into Trump's term. That was why Trump fired the fed chair and pressured his own pick to lower rates prematurely, he was aware that the economy was cooling down now that his policies were taking effect and needed the artificial boost of cheap money to goose the market going into an election knowing that the resultant inflation wouldn't take hold until post-election.
