Honestly, I'm thinking that people like the poster above are just uninformed. They may well have been unaware that Palestinian-controlled territory is split into the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and that the settlers the UN paper refers to are in the former, not the latter.

What worries me is the number of (equally) uninformed folks who will see their comment and have their confirmation bias engaged- or the folks who know damn well that there's a difference but spread bad information *anyway* because it's apparently not enough to comment on the actual things Israel does- they have to make up more.
