I recommend everyone start with the basics and learn what their risk tolerance and investing style is. Completely agree with you there’s no one size fits all. To add my example, I started with savings accounts, then retirement accounts with target date funds. After a decade of that, had more to invest and started brokerage, roboadvisor. And two years ago started learning options. It can be a lot of fun and rewarding, but it’s not for everyone. Finding that sweet spot is what’s important. Maybe it’s stopping at retirement accounts and target date funds. Nothing with that.
