Harder, more functional money has always won in society. If a harder money like Bitcoin became widely used, regular currencies would slowly be absorbed into it until it is in fact a Bitcoin standard.
Right now that standard in our world is obviously dollars, but we can already see how unsustainable a fiat standard really is. Another 85 years seems unlikely
