* Israel isn't the one with a majority in favour of Sharia. * Israel isn't the one who none of the surrounding half-sane brotherhood countries want anything to do with because of them consistently committing acts of terrorism. * Israel isn't the one cutting the heads off of people for being gay or being apostates. * Israel isn't the one who, after 15 years of 'settlers' being withdrawn, has zero infrastructure of their own and still rely on a second party to feed, water, and provide power.

These people, who my leftist compatriots support, many of them would kill me **and them**, for being atheists or being an ally to the LGBT community. Jewish people might look down on me for being an atheist in Israel, but they wouldn't kill me for it, Palestinians would.

Children are dying because Hamas refuse to surrender. The Palestine people are not fighting back against Hamas and instead are sitting in place, or in many cases directly supporting them while otherwise martyring themselves for a nonsensical cause. Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005, Hamas took over 2 years later.

Attack a modern military, kill 1200 of their people and kidnap hundreds of others, and see what happens when you fight with your sticks and stones against rail guns.

If my country had been attacked consistently year after year, if my people had been taken, if my family had been slaughtered, I would want nothing less than my enemies' eradication. Israel is attempting to do this in an urban combat zone where Hamas doesn't even attempt to follow the rules of war. Any other sufficiently armed nation would have blown Gaza off of the map within a month.
