When did you place the trade?
A money market fund is a type of mutual fund. Mutual funds are not exchange traded so they normally price once a day, usually at market close but different mutual funds can have different cutoffs for orders.
For example - if you placed the order after 4pm ET yesterday - you would not see the position until it is processed after market close today.
For SWVXX at Schwab - I think the cutoff is 4:00pm ET. And it normally processes at around 8:30pm ET so you won't see that position until tonight.
Mutual funds process T+1 normally - that means trade date plus 1 settlement day.
Equities - ie stocks process T+2 - at least until May 28 when the settlement changes to T+1 - it's actually a pretty big deal that equites are moving to T+1.
