I’m 23 and I want to start doing some investing but with a small amount, basically just what I can afford right now. I actually set it up last night but it was kind of rushed and just what I remember seeing in the past when considering investing.

I tried to set up a fidelity account several times and each time I would get to the end and past all the verification steps then it would tell me there was a problem so I ended up just using my old Robinhood account which I know isn’t the best.

I set up weekly recurring buys for $5 each for VOO, SPY, QQQ, and GOOGL. I also set up a Roth IRA with $20 every other week and just did on of the premade options for investing it.

Basically my question is if you were 23 and knew nothing about investing and had $30 weekly to invest or save how would you do it. Is how I have it ok or should I put the $30 into one thing or is this small of an amount even worth it vs just putting it into a savings account. I understand I’m not going to get rich from this but just trying to start the habit of putting money towards something.

Thanks for any advice
