As we stand on the precipice of an AI revolution that promises to transform our world in ways we can scarcely imagine, it's becoming increasingly clear that we need to invest heavily in the development of our infrastructure and prepare for the future of AGI. Sam Altman's recent statement that we need to spend $7 trillion on AI infrastructure highlights the massive scale of investment required to properly prepare for this transformative technology. While it's fair to critique Altman's potential to benefit greatly from such an investment, it doesn't negate the fundamental point that we need to be looking ahead, forecasting where this technology is going, and planning accordingly.

We must recognize that the development and rollout of AGI is not something we should poise our revolution against. In fact, we need to be pedal to the metal, fully accelerating AI development, even if it means short-term disruptions for regular working people who may face job displacement and potential hardship. This is an incredibly difficult dance, but it is a necessary one. The long-term benefits of AGI for humanity as a whole are simply too vast to ignore or slow down, and is necessary for Humanity's survival going forward, I would argue. So much as in nuclear warfare is an existential threat, so would be not going all in on AI and achieving AGI and then ASI, and doing so relatively rapidly.

However, we must also confront the stark reality that the concentration of wealth in the hands of a few is a massive issue that spans nearly every aspect of life and will only be exacerbated by AI. It's absolutely insane that in the wealthiest country in the history of the world, so many are just one bad day away from financial ruin.

To address this issue, I believe that a revolution of massive proportions is necessary. We need to unite and fight for a future where extreme wealth inequality is a thing of the past, where prosperity is shared among the masses, and where sanity is restored. A crucial component of this future is Universal Basic Income (UBI), which I believe is a necessity going forward. Those who oppose UBI may not fully understand the extent to which AI will transform our world and eliminate countless jobs in the very near future.

But how do we achieve this revolution? Some may argue that anger and hate are formidable tools for change, but I couldn't disagree more. Unity, compassion, and kindness are the most revolutionary things one can embody in a world of anger and hate. They are the very things that those in power fear the most, as they threaten their grip on control.

When we allow ourselves to be divided - left vs. right, Republican vs. Democrat, neighbor vs. neighbor - we play right into the hands of those who benefit from our disunity. Instead, we must see those who hoard wealth and power as misguided, recklessly threatening the well-being of us all. It is our responsibility to come together, to stand firm in our compassion, and to guide them towards a path that benefits everyone, not just a select few.

This is no easy task, and none of us are perfect. But I believe that striving to rid ourselves of anger and hatred, to see others with compassion and understanding, is the only way forward. Kindness, compassion, and unity are not forces of passivity, but rather the necessary components of true, positive change in this world.
