i think these aren't great examples... there is no reason to believe openai wont be able to do stuff like spit out a properly formatted resume/file in future releases, that doesn't even seem very far off. I'm sure it will be able to generate well designed pdfs at some point in the future, maybe even the near future.
i like the idea of the article but i would love some suggestions of business ideas that are actually openai/future proof. the second example more glue, then you go on to say ". But OS and Browser providers will integrate agents natively, and we shouldn’t be surprised if OpenAI releases their own agent browser one day." which is very true, so i wouldn't try to do that either
the takeaway from this article for me is that its not a good idea to try to build any kind of long term sustainbable business off this tech if it's your main offering... i would use this technology to enhance whatever your service or product is but not make it the product itself.
i will say there is an opportunity for early adopters and a lot of the general pop wont understand or even try to use the tech for a while... it's too broad... it does help being broken down into minor niche services. it's very profitable to run some niche business for what, 6 months to maybe 2 years but it's likely to die off I think. there is definitely some get rich quick mojo here by claimining the openai "magic" as your own until it becomes more widely adopted.
