Hey guys

These days I found it a bit amusing how a lot of people came to the sub asking if they should sell al their ETH due to the SEC.

Ethereum is by a big margin the most dominant DeFi chain holding almost 75% of the Total Value Locked **without even considering layer 2s**.

There will be an ETF because there is high demand for the asset in traditional finance and even if it wouldn't be approved these days, it would inevitably be approved in the future. Besides that, Ethereum doesn't even need an ETF to keep growing.

To be fair, I also use quite some other chains and there are some with great UI, cheap costs and fast transactions but Ethereum is just way too dominant, especially since the scaling approach through L2s plays out flawlessly and we got cheaper fees with Dencun. Tokenomics are also amazing given the deflationary nature of the asset. Earning a yield through staking + slowly reducing the supply is the dream of a value investor.

For me, every FUD session is a buying opportunity and nothing else comes close to ETH.

Greetings
