Assuming any tech company will do what is ethically, legally, or morally correct instead of burning the world down to make a trillion dollars, is a big big mistake. There are no constraints to what these companies will do, regardless of all the bullshit they spout of responsible use of AI. The law is simply not equipped to constrain all these new technologies...and by the time we have judges that even understand that the internet is not a series of tubes, we'll all be dead :)
