I recently inherited a portion of portfolio containing the above positions. Not sure if I should attempt to ride out the setup or try and reinvest. There is some margin debt as well so any advice around dealing with that is greatly welcome because I have no idea. I’m guessing if I sell something, I would have to pay taxes on that?
Some have negative dividends? I’m not sure what that means exactly. Is that where the negative cash balance comes from? Any insight would be helpful.
The value of everything totals ~ $7k with the majority of it in MTCH.
I guess my question is how long should I monitor this before I attempt to change anything? I would prefer to reinvest it all into some growth stocks (preferably in my Roth IRA) but I’m not sure if that’s better or worse or what. I’m really curious what other people would do. I am not good at this. This is my first “individual brokerage account”, I only know the rules for a Roth.
Thank you.
