This is the truth. The hype and overpromising on A.I. from these assholes is identical to Elon Musk's bragging eight years ago that full self driving is just around the corner. Have you actually tried to integrate A.I. into a real commercial project? It sucks. It is embarrassingly inconsistent, unreliable, and riddled with defects/hallucinations. At best, the various incarnations of A.I. are tools, but you just cannot trust them with anything important. All still require a human being to shepherd the creative process and vet the output. Will A.I. improve? Certainly. But the fastest progress is always in the first 80% of product development, which only represents 20% of the total cost. 80% of the remaining cost will be incurred solving the remaining 20% of last-mile-problems required to actually achieve the promise of A.I. - and that will take a *very* long time.
