Just last night I unplugged my Alexa and moved it to somewhere I can't see it. I got it at Christmas because it was cheap, and we've had it in our kitchen since then.

We never talk to it. It spends all day showing us pictures of Trump and headlines about him. Or it shows us stuff we'd never care about. The other day it showed a picture of an off-road vehicle and the screen said, "Try saying, 'Alexa, tell me about off-road racing.'" Why in the HELL would anyone want to ask Alexa that? If it's not suggesting stupid stuff for us to ask it, it's showing us stuff it thinks we should buy.

It just got so annoying to look at. So I plugged it in somewhere else where I can't see it. The only reason we have to keep it plugged in now is because we bought a bunch of smart bulbs (which I actually like) and we use it to control those. But I don't have to see its stupid screen to do that.

If this is the future it sucks.
