I love how people unironically think stock investing isn't gambling in some way as well. We're all just betting that people keep buying more iphones, keep subscribing to Netflix, keep selling their data to Facebook and Google, etc...

It's funny how "number go up" is perfectly acceptable in tradfi (we're all just blindly pumping billions into our index funds without even knowing what 99% of the companies are or what they do), but it's mocked and ridiculed for crypto
