Like the other commenter, “back in my day” trades were about 20 bucks a pop and Schwab was the discount place to trade. They had a fancy website and everything! I get you, though, now 7 bucks a pop is annoying if you’re making frequent small moves.

I had to sell a stock back then worth less than 20 bucks after the Tech Bubble. So in essence I had to pay Schwab just to remove the visual reminder of my stupidity.

I like the Nintendo idea, btw.
