You're welcome! You CAN use Binance. It's one of the largest exchanges available. Kraken & Coinbase have simply been around for way longer. In addition, Binance has been in the spotlight for various "scandals" as well, even though I wouldn't put too much weight on those in terms of exchange operability. For example, Changpeng Zhao pleaded guilty and stepped down as CEO of the crypto trading company last year due to money laundering. It's up to you what to do with that info.
The two exchanges also operate under U.S. jurisdiction, which means they are much more regulated and, I would argue, potentially safer to use.
Do think about cold storage sooner than later. Not your keys, not your coin is what they say. Read up on what happened with FTX last cycle.
Checking the current fee structures, my overall recommendation would be Kraken Pro. It's 0.2% which is much easier to stomach than using newer and less regulated exchanges.
