M1 MacBook Air, recently updated, too. When I paste copied text from Word, no text gets dropped in. It will add like a screenshot as if I uploaded an attachment (browser app does this as well). I normally delete it because 1) it's unnecessary since the text is usually there and 2) I assume it's being used to train the vision and I'd rather opt out. But anyway I tried having it read just the auto-screenshot thing and it then tells me it doesn't see anything.

Hopefully mine is just buggy and works normal soon.
