You have the same name as Sinatra's lead trumpet player, BTW...
For me it points to issues that simply haven't been tackled by the courts and ethicists...the AIs glom down huge amounts of public domain data and become what they are as a result of that data. They can then perform "new" tasks that don't exist in their training data. Since ScarJo's movies were almost certainly part of that data, is it wrong for the AI "owner" to profit without paying each of the (millions of) data "donors", including us on Reddit? How close do new tasks have to be to old ones before we say the AI is "copying" that data-donor?
