I'm not a particular fan of OpenAI (though it's definitely useful), I'm just keen on the actual law, and making sure it's not applied in such a way to target the little man, and that it sets out clear principles by which companies and individuals can realistically work from. Spectograms are exactly how court works. Forensic IT / audio specialists are part of hearings on a daily basis. They establish an objective way of ascertaining whether the crime has taken place. I guarantee you, if a case like this ever gets to court these days, audio engineers and spectograms will absolutely be part of it.

The CEO is an employee of a company. He is hired by the board of directors with an employment contract, and he literally draws a wage from the company. Again, you would have to prove that him tweeting 'Her' was a reference to the specific voice from a movie, and not the concept of having a female conversation chat-bot with informal responses. Good luck demonstrating that beyond a reasonable doubt.
