A typical balanced portfolio will have exposure to US, international and a mix of dividends, bonds or growth depending on your own situation / risk tolerance. Since you're young, you can definitely skew more growth if you don't have income needs.
No more than 25% in any ETF is typically a good start. A bit more in the US is okay, especially if you're investing in something like an S&P index fund.
