That Eliot Higgins has been asking them repeatedly to remove BelingCat from propornot's list of "allies" because even he appears to want nothing to do with them should set off a few red flags.

The Rebel Media is generally anti-Russia (as most of the Canadian Right tends to be), but is listed, presumably because it's generally pro-Trump, anti-Clinton and Lauren Southern is a bit of an alt-right sweetheart, though not alt-right herself. But yet, it's there, why?

The sweethearts of the progressive left: Truthdig, Counterpunch, Truthout, Naked Capitalism, and the Black Agenda Report, are all there as well, as is Alternet.

And of course, the above mentioned listing of Wikileaks. Does nobody remember all the dirt on Russia tat was leaked in Cablegate?

It's little more than a neo-McCarthyist witch hunt.

That you need such a registry to know to approach Pravda, RT and Sputnik with a skeptical eye is a bit telling, especially given that there's no similar urge regarding a site that lists a bunch of outlets funded by the U.S. State Department, NATO and assorted tech and weapons companies is a tad... Odd.
