I'm not trying to be in conspiracies, but their explanation to make this seem ok was a bit weird. Anyone who cares about their information privacy should think twice about this online ai pc and even the local features if connected to the Internet. There is a guaranteed backdoor to most big tech, windows software included. Think why does everyone know Google is spying and lying and gets away with it on a global scale? It's because the government uses these backdoors or mutually known secret exploits too.

I digress It's odd enough that people were so fast to give ai all their personal lifelong notes and ideas to "chat with a digital twin" only to lose interest a week later and realize they have given over their life's work for a demo. People are being reckless with their digital life's data trail. It's not about hiding anything, it's about the fact we shouldn't normalize saying "local ai" features while connected to the web are safe.

Please please please read the terms and agreements for each demo you use, free products are honey pots for your info right now. Similar to how simple flashlight apps used to ask for access to your entire device with no reason but to spy. A ton of simple ai tool websites are doing the same.

But those are just the small tools. it's wild how the biggest companies have the biggest known data privacy violations with a worse repetutation and largest fines in history are being pitched as the quality handlers of our data future( they swear it's cool ok). I pray open source crushes almost every software biz opportunity and people simply support the open source efforts that are the most validated as secure. I don't care if there are better ways to hack someone, we don't need more.
