Yea u gotta compound them. So 1.041 x 1.08 x 1.047 x 1.012= 19%. I was using march 2021 to current, so got different results.

Honestly we all can get different results using different dates. I looked at 10 and 20 years and over those periods the DJIA does beat inflation by about 7% annualy.
