Works in reverse. Money is exchanged for a piece of paper. Those papers are supply and demand of outstanding shares. The company does buybacks with cash they created by upping the price of their product over inflation. Inflation is pretty good for revenue / profit especially if supply normalizes prices. And gov subsidies help.

Then the company “invest” in themselves with a buy back and have complete control of the pricing of products. Sprinkle some healthy debt on top and viola you get a money printer. Similar to papa pows printer.

So the value of the company may have growth or no growth. But one thing is for certain. That the company can control outstanding shares through dilution and buy backs, and we as investors buy those shares exchanging money for them. Money for a piece of paper that makes us feel all fuzzy.

Money that has essentially “halved” or gotten weaker to the paper we so like to bet on what price it ll be next week.

See we re all trying to gamble on the price next week while the dollar changes value from interest hikes, and fed adjustments. So money is changing what it represents, mean while companies executed dividends payouts, buybacks, splits etc to attract for fairy dust money from investors lol. Creating a big asss vortex of bullshit.
