Dear god you’re insufferable.

People have been struggling to feed their families and working hard to try and make a better life for their children - on the edge of a capitalist hellscape where billionaires routinely game the system to concentrate wealth for themselves at the expense of everyone else.

The average Amazon worker is not Jeff Bezos, it’s a warehouse worker has his breaks tracked by surveillance and gets yelled at by his boss if he takes more than five minutes going to the bathroom.

And now when a bunch of billionaires come up with more “life-changing” technology - naturally the first question they’re going to ask is “life changing, but for who?” It’s entirely understandable if they’re apprehensive about it.

Suddenly making a computer that can answer knowledge based questions as good as the average person is of absolutely no benefit to them if it doesn’t improve their life in any way - and if it permanently destroys a large number of jobs this will be devastating on society.
