Been seeing a lot of these ‘Nvidia is overvalued’ posts and I feel like there is a nugget of truth to it but it fails to factor in the speculative nature of trading.

Is Nvidia worth $950 right now based on historic performance? Probably not. But they’re a blue-chip stock with astronomical growth potential, being turbo-charged by the recent chip shortage and AI boom. Chips are on everyone’s mind and lips at the moment of course Nvidia is going to be heavily demanded.

Again, I think there’s a kernel of truth to the idea that Nvidia could see a significant downturn in the next couple months, if hype subsides, but a lot of people (including me) will be using that as an opportunity to buy more.

The idea that the entire market will collapse because Nvidia stock price drops a bit is ludicrous. I think 90% of investors are in agreement that while Nvidia’s price is going a bit mental atm, it’s still obviously a fundamentally great business, and great stock pick.
