It has almost nothing at all to do with AI itself, it has 100% to do with the fact that human beings are rolling it out.

What are the effects of AI so far that people hear about?

1. All art is dead and no human will ever be able to be an artist, musician, poet, writer, filmmaker, or anything else of the kind which human beings used to greatly love to do. 2. All of the high-paying jobs are going away, law, medicine, software engineering, banking, marketing, finance, science, etc... are all going away since AI can do them all way better. 3. AI is also replacing real human relationships just at the time when there is an isolation epidemic. 4. AI is flooding the already bot-saturated Internet to a degree that even normal people are noticing and the dead internet theory seems like it's going to definitely occur.

What reason does anyone have to LIKE AI given the above? The technology is being used to create an absolutely HORRIFIC HELLSCAPE FOR HUMAN BEINGS TO LIVE IN.

So it has nothing to do with the technology. If AI was being rolled out along with government programs beginning to transition groups in society into highly paid UBI so the message was "hey look, this tech is already making it so many people don't even have to work and are getting money!" then literally everyone would love AI.

But the way it's going now, why should anyone other than the people becoming billionaires off of it right now like AI at all?
