Really curious if anyone has an actual answer to the original question? As a fairly light user I don't much care if the anthropic access is less than unlimited, it as per the OP the access to everything for the price of one seems a no brainer, unless they are dumbing down the models you access by imposing token caps etc, so a comparison of the quality of output from the same model tested (a) direct and then (b) via you.com would be really interesting.
