It doesn't. Bitcoin will be so limited in supply on a global level that companies won't be able to pay wages in it.

They won't have enough.

Historically a new company could take out a loan to pay wages. It earns money. It pays the loan back

Loans don't work in the deflationary world

Who would lend their bitcoin to a company knowing they are likely to never get it back. Bitcoin, the most valuable asset on the planet. I'm not lending it.

The company owes 100 bitcoins. It has 5 bitcoin profit in year one. Bit bitcoin only ever gets more valuable. So even though the company is doing lots of business and is growing, it still only makes 5 bitcoin profit. And the following year it makes 4 in profit, because bitcoin got more valuable again.

But Saylor wants his bitcoins back and obviously he's charging interest. Why would he lend it for nothing.

The company owes 110 bitcoins.

It will pay the workers less bitcoin but it has to sell its products for less and makes less profit. It could invest in a new factory to improve efficiency and profit. But... It doesn't have the bitcoins and a bigger loan is just suicide at this point, servicing the startup costs is already killing the company.

Meanwhile the workers have mortgages to pay. Their mortgages go from 6 bitcoins to 7 due to interest. But their wages go from 0.5 a year to 0.4. assuming the company can get hold of enough bitcoins to pay wages because no one wants to give these fuckers up. They are just too valuable.

No one is actually buying a car, or whatever, from this company unless they really really have to. The cost of the car will be less bitcoins next year and they are precious, I need all the coins I can get to pay off my increasing loan debt.

So the company isn't doing well. The whole economy doesn't do well because deflation slows everything down. Economies need money to move. But no one wants to lose bitcoins. Tax isn't collected. Governments can't print money so there is little they can do. They simply don't have the bitcoins to build that new airport which would boost the economy, and no one will lend to them.

Basic services crumble, infrastructure is not maintained, there is civil unrest as gen z get older and realise that merely being born later means they will never be able to get hold of many coins. There are no new coins for them. They are slaves to coin holders.

Wait, I digress, what does bitcoin solve again? Gets me a Lambo you say? Got it. Let's go!
