Im sure someone will mention megalodon but the average sperm whale male today is 16m and even the "long but skinny" model of megalodon that came out recently would have an average size of only 13 to 14m (and again be much less massive than a sperm whale), and following basic bell curve size laws that all animals follow, the max size megalodons we see (21/22m individuals) would still be smaller than modern Sperm Whale upper estimates. most estimates comparing size compare the size of the absolute biggest specimen of megalodon found to only the average size of other marine mammals, which is farcical.

megalodon size estimates are always so ridiculous and cartoony. its like comparing Yao Ming at 2.3m, to the height of an average grizzly on its hind legs at 2m - and then saying "look! humans are much bigger than grizzly bears! humans are so big and scary!" when in reality the biggest grizzlies are nearly 3m on their back legs.

reality is mean length of megalodon is 10~13m (depending on whether its based on great white or longer skinny sharks), which is still smaller than grey whales/humpbacks/sperm whales

and theres Livyatan but again I believe only one specimen has been found and estimated at 13-16m putting it just under in size from a modern Sperm whale
