I have had the same experience with my friends, on the other hand one of my good friends really got it fairly fast and have been buying and hodling since. I have turned out to talk to people about bitcoin only a)if they starts talking about the subject first or b) the use case is so obvious that it is a no brainer to try using bitcoin as a solution. When you think about it, there are quite few cases where bitcoin is actually the best solution if used or at least would be if the counterparty would use also bitcoin. Anyways I have thought it is not worth losing good friendships for talking about bitcoin, and it is for some reason way more heated subject than I first could have imagined.
