I know a guy who was an American nuclear sub officer. Nuclear powered and carried nukes. Apparently, the submarines are the biggest problem. Because they would potentially launch from such a short range, our time to react would be minimal. Much less hitting them with a missile before they could even open the hatch.

I'm American and think we have the best military. But I'm not delusion.

Also, from what I was told, countries like America and Russia just park subs in spots for months on end in the event a first strike is needed. He said he would spend 9 months at a time or more in 1 location if needed at classified depths and locations. Not his words he just would not tell me where and how deep lol. I was curious.
