Hey man, I’m not trying to upset you and I definitely don’t think that most Americans were super exposed to the war. Obviously those close to the attacks and those who fought in the war are going to have much more direct exposed to those things.

But we weren’t talking about the degree to which Americans were exposed to terrorism and the subsequent wars, we were talking about whether or not white evangelicals were *uniquely* exposed to those things, and I don’t think they were.

White evangelicals weren’t uniquely exposed to the war more or less than the general population, yet they are unique in their support of Israel. The twin towers weren’t disproportionately filled with white evangelicals so they can’t want extra revenge for that nor is the military so disproportionately evangelical or white to explain how evangelicals have ended up with twice the support for the idea of god giving Israel to the Jews than American Jews themselves!

So again, we weren’t talking about how much impact terror had on the average American, just if evangelicals were outliers in their exposure.
