It seems to be doing some reasoning to adjust the same image concepts from landscape to vertical on I don’t show it in this conversation but on the iPhone app I was switching between views and it would adjust. I did try cat and dog because I figured there would be enough of those examples on the internet for it to easily draw from those. What I found interesting was just when asking it to create something on its own it was consistently better. You’re right nothing is stored it’s all basically compressed. Though with a dog and cat there’s enough examples in the training data for it to easily create those images. When I asked it to create original images from its “imagination” you can see how previous images I had it create bleed into the ideas, so what happens in the context window seems to definitely have an influence which isn’t surprising, but also shows it’s not just recreating some “stored” example. GPT4 and GPT4o are much better at this than Claude 3 Opus.
