Hi, as title mentions im currently struggling to understand crypto and trade.

Just wanted your advice on everything im doing currently.

Right now im using Dexscreener and filtering through the newest coins to invest, im using phantom wallet and purchasing the meme coins through jupiter.

Just earlier I think I fell for whats called a honeypot and lost $5. How do I avoid and indentify fake coins in the future? Is dexscreener the best way to find coins? And what are overall strategies, do I try to gamble by putting in money on a coin that is brand new or do I wait a couple of minutes and do research on it and how do I do proper research on the coin?

Is photon legit? I was reading through this subreddit and people seemed to have mixed opinions, im not sure if I should trust the people backing photon up.
