Some thoughts...

* A.I quickly snaps up all "entry level" skillset jobs in many industries. This will cause massive skill shortages down the road, as beginners in this field struggle to survive while mastering their craft. You can already see questions coming up from beginners asking 'Why bother if my job is immediately going to be taken by A.I?" * Massive brain drain internally in companies as they outsource their "skills" to a 3rd party A.I. It'll create massive dependency risks for many companies. If you rely on A.I to build systems, and maintain those systems, you're effectively slaved to it. * Alignment Issues. Social engineering techniques will be used to great effect against A.I, leading to massive security breaches. Trying to prevent A.I from leaking company information or critical flaws in infrastructure will be a challenge. e.g. How do you prevent your sales A.I from leaking company secrets? * Specially trained automated hacking and social engineering at a level yet unseen. Truly adaptive agents able to rapidly cycle through thousands of exploits in seconds. Cyversecurity is going to take on an entirely new dimension as companies are forced to deploy their own A.I driven counter measures. * Fake news and misinformation will begin to cause massive problems with social cohesion around the globe. Misinformation campaigns will become a new battlefield to destablise countries and governments, leading to the eventual segmentation of the internet. * Initial attempts to replace skilled experts with "A.I assisted laymen" will result in massive service disruptions and potentially deaths. We're already seeing this happen at small scale. See the case of the Lawyers being hauled over the coals for depending on ChatGPT for their case research. * New kinds of medical and material science breathroughts will become possible, thanks to A.I's ability to parse immense amounts of information. This is already beginning to bare fruit now. * Social disruption as many jobs are replaced with A.I. Call centers, receptioinists and other office admin jobs quickly become obsolete. * We continue to improve the problem of hallucinations, but struggle to completely remove them. Ask yourself, how dangerous is a cacluator that gets 1 in a 1000 calculations wrong? What happens when your A.I appears to be right enough to fool you into thinking it can't be wrong?
