Architecture: Device -> The Things Stack -> Thingsboard (Springboot)

I have 1 production thingsboard server & 1 localhost thingsboard server.

I tried to send 2 ways RPC request from production server to the device, and it returns successfully.

However when I send the same request on localhost, it returns 504 Gateway Timeout error. It doesn’t has any useful information in the server log.

The localhost database is a copy of production database, so we can skip considering data issue.

After the investigation, I still can’t figure out what’s going wrong. Does anyone has any idea of what I should investigate to debug this issue? Thanks.
